Hey all!

Inside this post/video, I show you how you can incorporate your custom domain using Cloudflare so you can use your new domain to reveal that the ClickFunnels pages you have created rather than the first, nasty, default ClickFunnels hyperlinks!

In our prior movie we did set up our customized domain using Namecheap and then ClickMagick to monitor using CNAME DNS ( however ClickFunnels just permits you to get custom domains via Cloudflare, thus we will need to understand how to perform it on this stage too.

So, the very first thing we will need to do is to produce our Cloudflare accounts at’www.cloudflare.com’. As soon as you do so, you want to enter your new domain to the primary bar once you simply sign in, with no subdomain, like’www’, only’yourdomain.com’. When you do so and wait for a minute for it to load, then you have to write down the subdomain which you need your domain to get, and set it up without a subdomain in any way, much like we did at our previous movie. So place up one CNAME record pointing towards’target. clickfunnels. Id’ as the value ‘www’ as the subdomain (or anything subdomain you need ), and yet another CNAME album with’@’ as the subdomain, standing for’nothing’. Be certain that the clouds are orange to you.

We will need to enter the values offered to you from Cloudflare back to Namecheap. Open up your Namecheap accounts and start your domain name that you need to setup. You want to modify the menu choice to’habit DNS’ and insert the values offered to you from Cloudflare. Click on the green checkmark when you’ve done that!

We simply have to await our website in order to disperse and operate globally, which may up to 24-48 hours. In our situation, it required approximately 10 minutes. However we need to include an SSL certificate to our website so it shows as’protected’, and include a webpage guideline which also arranges your webpage to a protected server. Proceed into the’crypto’ choice in Cloudflare and choose’complete’ for your own SSL. After that, head to’page guidelines’, and then add a forwards URL page guideline by entering your entire domain name followed by a’/*’ to represent any subID’s which come after your domain , and divert it ‘ below the’301 permanent redirect’ alternative.

This is supposed to be it to your own Cloudflare section!

We simply have to return to our own ClickFunnels and put in our customized domain name to our accounts. We can begin by visiting the top menu option and selecting’custom domains’. We will need to put in a new custom domain name by saying’use present domain’ and then’manual installation’. Insert your customized domain with no subdomains, turn the SSL certification on, and choose what page that you wish to divert visitors when they strike a mistake, or when they form in only’yourdomain.com’, with no subID’s.

When you’ve completed that, we will need to return to our funnel which we would like to modify, and then change three things: the entire funnel domain , the funnel measure domain setup, and also the respective landing page domain installation. We can do this by clicking on the’settings’ option in the top of our attachment, the’publishing’ option just under it to the funnel measures, along with the tiny equipment icon just below every landing page edit button to every single respective landing page integration.

When you’ve completed that, you might also wish to visit each landing page, click’edit’, and only save. That will guarantee the new changes you’ve done have already been saved!

However, besides that, your integration must now be complete! We’ve completed a test at the movie, and that which has functioned successfully, so make sure you test it out until the end to learn exactly what you ought to be searching for.

  2. Hi bro, I have current settings, my root domain is redirected to my other 2.0 webpage, also im using it with my clickmagick, now my question is that if I follow this procedure will it affect all the settings on my root domain (basics dns Settings) also I have a sub domain pointing to my blog… please advise

  3. HI, if I only want to use SUBDOMAINS in Clickfunnel, and leave my rootdomain (where I have wordpress site) in my host registrar… can I follow this ? can I just add website in Cloudfare, and leave dns for my website on root domain, and only configure new subdomains for Clickfunnels? I also have email in my host registrar, and don't want to stop any of these working !! Thanks.

  4. Thanks Ivan for your informative content! Great shit! I'm new to the building funnels. So to be clear, I would need to integrate my domain which I host on Hostwinds with clickfunnels, cloudflare, and clickmagick? If I were to use Leadpages, would I still need cloudflare? Thank you for any and all enlightened advice.

  5. Awesome as always, thanks man :)..

I don't know how much you know about networking, DNS, servers etc. (I don't know much more than what I've learned from setting up basic WordPress sites and browsing cPanel and stuff like that)… but I'm trying to wrap my head around this stuff… so from what I understand:

-Every Domain you own has a table with multiple DNS Records in it (DNS records include A records – which point a domain to a certain IP address that you can configure, and CName records which map one domain NAME to another domain NAME [instead of an IP address]

-These DNS records are stored in a table that constitute that Domain's Database… and since databases are hosted on Database Servers… is the Nameserver just another name for the Database Server that these records are stored on??

So I guess what you're doing is pointing the Domain Names (purchased on Namecheap – the Domain Registrar) and pointing them to Cloudflare which is the HOST (is that true – Cloudflare essentially acts as the hosting service?? Since it provides the nameservers and SSL certificates??)… THanks again brotha 🙂

  6. Hey Ivan … and the gang.

Can anyone let me know why I cant get the cloud/arrow image to appear when I add the new CNAME records to Cloudflare?
I am trying to get in contact with Click Funnels now, but no luck yet..

    Thanks Inadvanced
    Dan

  7. Heeeeeey Ivan,
    Whatsssss Up..

Can you please explain the Pros of using Cloudflare over Domain Hosting?
I have not had any luck gettting Cloudflare to pass http/https though it .. I have gone ahead and created the cusom domains in Name Cheap for now and I am wondering what the constrictions I will expect to see could be??
