4 Link Building Tips To Dominate Your Niche

Link building is one of those things that most people don’t do enough of and the fact of the matter is you can’t afford do no build links. What most people want most for their website is to get a lot of traffic and dominate the niche they are in. Now I know this may be a dumb question, but are you currently doing a lot of link building?

Even if you have been building links to your website for a while it doesn’t mean anything unless you are dominating your competition on the search engine rankings. The only way to tell if you are a dominating force is to actually be found on the search engines for the keywords that you want to target. Being that the only thing left to do for most niche websites is to build backlinks it is only fitting that you know the best way to get links and dominate your competition.

4 Link Building Tips To Dominate Your Competition

Alternate anchor text

One thing that many people that own niche sites do is they tend to only concentrate on their main keyword but you really need to alternate the anchor text in order to get the most traffic. It is great to dominate 1 keyword but it would be even better to be on the first page for 10 keywords while working your way to #1.

Build links constantly

Something that people don’t do enough of is build links constantly. If you are not number 1 then you need to be building more links to your site every day and even if you are number 1 you need to build links in order to stay #1. My suggestion is to get at least 5 new links per day to your website even if they are just blog comments or forums signatures.

Diversify your link locations

Do you build links in more places than just 1? If you do then you are doing a good job of diversifying your link locations. What most people do is they only do blog comments or forums posts and doing this will ensure that your site won’t last long at the top of the search engines. In order to stay at the top of the search engine rankings you need to make sure you have a lot of many different types of links.

Page rank is important

Something that many people don’t understand is that page rank is actually important. What most people think is that it doesn’t matter when in reality the higher your page rank is the higher you will rank on the search engines. My advice to you is to do everything you can to get a diversified link portfolio in order to get a higher page rank.
